Astor Piazzolla did not make the transcription of Vivaldi's work, but created his analogue.


«Времена года в Буэнос-Айресе» – это четыре танго: «Осень», «Зима», «Весна», «Лето».
“Seasons in Buenos Aires” are four tango: “Autumn”, “Winter”, “Spring”, “Summer”.


В отличие от Вивальди, цикл Пьяццолы начинается не с «Весны», а с «Осени», вероятно, потому, что в южном полушарии, где расположена Аргентина, всё наоборот: когда в Италии весна, в Буэнос-Айресе стоит осень.
Unlike Vivaldi, the Piazza cycle does not begin from the “spring”, but from the “autumn”, probably because in the southern hemisphere where Argentina is located, the opposite is true: when spring is in Italy, in Buenos Aires there is autumn.
