«Voyager II» пролетел мимо Миранды, самого близкого к Урану спутника, 24 января 1986 года. Миранда является самым маленьким спутником Урана, её диаметр приблизительно равен 500 километрам. Одна часть её поверхности глубоко испещрена кратерами, другая - имеет сложный горный рельеф с гигантскими каньонами. Глубина одного из каньонов превышает высоту горы Эверест.
Voyager II flew past Miranda, closest to Urani satellite, on January 24, 1986. Miranda is the smallest uranium companion, its diameter is approximately 500 kilometers. One part of its surface is deeply dotted with craters, the other has a complex mountainous relief with giant canyons. The depth of one of the canyons exceeds the height of Mount Everest.
