Хоть людей любил Он,
Although He loved people,
Отдан Бог на суд толпы.
God was given over to the judgment of the crowd.


"Распни!", - требует толпа безумно.
“Crucify!” the crowd madly demands.
"Распни!" Иисус безмолвен среди шума.
"Crucify!" Jesus is silent amid the noise.
"Распни!" Крик толпы так хладнокровен:
"Crucify!" The cry of the crowd is so cold-blooded:
"Он виновен! Он виновен!"
"He's guilty! He's guilty!"


Страшный крест Своей любви к человеку Бог был готов пронести,
God was ready to bear the terrible cross of His love for man,
Свою жизнь Бог хотел отдать за людей грехи.
God wanted to give his life for people’s sins.
Но они Его схватили, беспощадно били, в лицо кричали клевету.
But they grabbed Him, beat Him mercilessly, and shouted slander in His face.


Но они в Него плевали, нагло насмехались, и Бог пригвожден к кресту.
But they spat at Him, brazenly mocked Him, and God was nailed to the cross.


Распят! Сотряслась земля от боли.
Crucified! The earth shook in pain.
Распят! Он волю Отца исполнил.
Crucified! He fulfilled the will of the Father.
Распят за тех, кто требовал тогда: "Сойди с креста! Сойди с креста!"
Crucified for those who then demanded: “Come down from the cross! Come down from the cross!”


Воскрес! Больше жизни Он любил.
Risen! He loved more than life.
Воскрес! От греха освободил.
Risen! Freed me from sin.
Воскрес! Мир Он смертью изменил.
Risen! He changed the world by death.
Бог победил, победил!
God won, won!
